Japanese Sake Kasu (rice wine yeast) is a traditional ingredient found in the fermentation of rice. It is formed during the manufacturing process, whereby sake lees, the famous Kinokuniya Bunzaemon sake produced in Wakayama, and molasses combine to form a solid residue. This pure Japanese extract acts as a natural moisturiser and contains antioxidant and anti-ageing properties. It's also effective in skin whitening.
