Our Story
O’PUREO was founded by Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner Cici Luk. Passionate about holistic health and beauty, she practised acupuncture and administered time-honoured, natural treatments.
Her philosophy stems from a belief that, although not everyone is born with supermodel looks, taking good care of yourself initiates an inner glow and self-confidence that shines through. Interested in both physical and psychological wellness, she recognised that values such as self-love and self-acceptance were alluring, illuminating from within. She coined the term ‘happily healthy’, which perfectly illustrates her approach to skincare.
As an advocate for the holistic health of mind, body, and soul, Cici began to explore a combination of Chinese medicine with a more scientific approach to skincare. Her trusted clientele encouraged her to offer this fusion of inherited Eastern wisdom and Western science to a larger audience. The result is a unique range of enriched serums and pure essences which work alongside daily skincare rituals, to create a ‘lit-from-within’ glow.
